Altura was engaged by Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB) to develop a program to systematically improve energy efficiency for their portfolio of medical office buildings. The result is an innovative Connected Building Commissioning (CBCx) process which leverages SkySpark, a remote fault detection and analytics program, to extract actionable data from building management systems.
See details of this project in the following case study: PMB Connected Building Cx
Altura uses connected data to identify energy efficiency opportunities, and our team works with PMB building operation staff to implement improvements and train for future optimization. The result is a program which has uncovered immediate savings of more than 20% per building, representing annual cost savings of more than $65,000 for the first two building in the program. Other benefits of the program include lower maintenance costs, prolonged equipment life, improved occupant comfort, and enhanced operator training.
The program currently includes St. Joseph Medical Tower, Lakeway Medical Plaza, Grossmont Medical Terrace, and Weinberg Medical Plaza & Wellness Center.
