Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

Altura team members have been working with Broadcom since 2010 to help manage the company’s annual sustainability report and submissions to CDP, GRI, DJSI, Newsweek and other sustainability reporting initiatives. Other responsibilities include facilitation of internal and external stakeholder engagement, global utility management including energy efficiency projects, building retro-commissioning and new construction commissioning, water conservation and greenhouse gas reduction programs.

In recognition of Broadcom’s strong commitment to corporate sustainability, the company was recently named the #4 greenest company in the U.S. (#8 worldwide) on the prestigious Newsweek Green Rankings index – up from #80 in 2014. Broadcom has also significantly improved their climate change performance in Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) – the international standard for climate change reporting – increasing their disclosure score from 48 to 98 (104% improvement) in 2015, and earning an A- performance score.
